Statement regarding coronavirus

The novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has been spreading from Wuhan, Hubei province since it was first discovered in late December. By 17:00 GST+8, 3rd February, there are 17335 confirmed cases in China and 153 in other countries caused 362 deaths. 75 confirmed cases were from Ningbo, where LongXing located. The Chinese government has taken serious actions to control the situation from wildly spreading and minimise the affect by the coronavirus including enforcing medical assistances, locking down towns and cities when necessary, reducing public transport nationwide, and extending the Chinese new year holiday for companies and schools.

At LongXing, we always put the safety of our staff at the highest priority. We have contacted all our staffs and luckily all of them and their families are safe and healthy. We are following the instructions of Ningbo local government to extended our new year holiday to 9th Feb, instead of 1st Feb. All staff are advised to stay at home as much as possible because the following week seems to be the key moment of the battle against Coronavirus as the max latent period is 14 day.

LongXing is expecting the local staff to return to work on Monday, 10th Feb unless there is any new instructions from the government. We will set different return policies for staff outside of Ningbo due to the special situation, especially for those from Hubei province, they might return later when it is safe enough to take nationwide public transportation.

As a result of this situation, not just late return of non-local staff,  but also the uncertain status of our suppliers and domestic delivery services, it may take longer time for us to run full capacity this year, and most orders will need longer lead time than previous estimations, however,  our services and quality will never be compromised. Please contact your sales manager for an updated delivery plan.
